View On Black

Well here it is again. The waiting room of Michigan Central Station. It's enormous waiting room attracts all Urbex'ers from around the country because of its magnitude, architectural detail, and haunting mood. What I think is interesting about this shot compared to a similar one I did back in March is how my processing has evolved. What I'm noticing now about myself is that I like to bring out a sense of light and shadow. I'm learning quite a bit from photographers on Flickr and I can't thank them enough. As I look upon earlier treks to the place, I cringe at how immature my skills were at that point. Yikes! View the whole Michigan Central Station collection

What is a Seamless Texture / Pattern?
A seamless texture is an special image, where one side of a image exactly matches the opposite side, so that the edges blend into each other when repeated. Seamless textures are used for desktop wallpaper, webpage backgrounds, video games, Photoshop fills and in 3D rendering programs.

How did you make it?
This texture was made using software specially designed to aid in seamless texture creation. Some of the programs I’ve use are Photoshop, Illustrator, Filter Forge, Genetica, Image Synth, Alien Skin, Topaz Labs, Imagelys, and a Wacom tablet.
